What I learned, what I'd like to change, and what I'm going to focus on.

Funerals are weird.
And sad and uncomfortable.

My father-in-law’s funeral was yesterday and it really threw me for a loop.

I’ve been to funerals before, of course, so I generally know what to expect.

The thing is, I’m almost always surprised by the emotions.
